    • Unfortunately the image quality is not good. It is a photo taken in my first visit to Greece, in 2003. At that time i did not have a digital camera. Picture is taken on celluloid film and then digitized it with a photoscanner. For this reason, the quality is poor. Location of Delphi archaeological site on a terrace of Mount Parnassus, it is spectacular, because it has to impress those who came there and believe in the magic of the place. All it was built around a water spring, which emanates a hallucinogenic gas. Temple priestesses, inhaled this gas and after, make various predictions. With these predictions were make a “contol” of Hellenic world, starting from 1300 BC, until the advent of the Roman Empire. I would say that Delphi was for ancient Europe, what is Brussels, for modern European Union. All came there with rich gifts for the temple and left with promises for the future.

    • From this place was controlled ancient world, between 1300 BC, until the occurrence of Roman Empire. The control was by prophecies and predictions made by priestesses who served temple. I would say that Delphi was the most successful business of antiquity. The ancient world came here with rich gifts for the temple and go with promises for future.

But i know, you’re born in France and i want, this picture to remind you that modern civilization was born here, in Europe (where you born) and i hope that you to be proud of this fact, even if you live a long time ago, in “another world”!
