File 201 – Transfagarasan Road, Carpathian Mountains, Romania
In any top of spectacular roads you search, you will find the Transfagarasan Road, on first 10-15 position. The road was built in 1970-1974 for reasons of military strategy, has a length of 91 km, maximum altitude is 2042 m and offering amazing sceneries.
The famous BBC Top Gear Auto Show, has made a tours in Romania in 2009, when the three presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond, have led an Aston Martin, a Ferrari and a Lamborghini from Bucharest to Constanta and then on Transfagarasan Road. At the end of the show, the three presenters said that Transfagarasan Road is the most beautiful road, that have led ever. Now you can see if the three television stars, which went on many roads around the world, were right or not!?

2042 m altitude! I think this is a good “beach” for you, Francis! 😀

Haha, yes, i born at 3800. 2042 here are te cities to rest for elders as it’s not so high and it has not much humidity.

Where I live, the planes fly below 3,800 m. For me is hard to imagine how is life at 3800 m. It can play football at that height?

Yes! absolutely, since kids we love to play football. But we have adaptions, our lungers are bigger and we have a higher number of red blood cells to use more efficiently oxygen. Football teams of countries or cities close to the sea just need to adapt one week before in an intermidiate city.

With these adaptations, means that Juliaca is a city with many Superman! 😀

Haha, that would be fantastic but our powers fade when we go closer to the sea.

Pai, ai fost acum, impreuna cu mine! 😀
Da, recunosc, sunt un om fericit! Dar doar in masura in care poate sa fie fericit un om care traieste in Romania! 😦

In primul rand, imi cer scuze pentru rasunsul intarziat! Daca as fi eu “posesorul” lor, in mod sigur le-as converti in energie creativa.
Chiar daca de-a lungul vietii reusim sa ne construim mici universuri armonioase in jurul nostru, oricat am incerca a le izolam, ele vor ramane parte integranta a unor mecanisme sociale, politice, economice, culturale.

No, vezi, d-aia am “abonament” la blogul tău.
No, acu m-am pus io pe povestit.
