Parca este un castel din povesti ! In traducere se numeste Cetatea Porumbeilor, deoarece in turnul de sus a fost inchisa Elena cea frumoasa , regina Bizantului, care crestea porumbei si ii iubea foarte mult ! Asa spune legenda .
The first attestation of the Golubac fortification is from the time of Roman Empire … and the Romans were not “little people”, at all! 😀
In Europe, history has been (and still is) very hectic (effect of many nations, in a small space) … without such fortifications, survival would have been impossible!
Excellent! 🙂

Este un loc “de poveste” … o dovada ca uneori, povestile sunt adevarate! 😀

Wow! I always wonder when I see great structures – who are all the little people who built them?

A garden in stone in front of a fortress of flowers. The landscape is quite rich in details, Dan. Lovely photograph.
